At three o'clock, implore My mercy, especially for sinners; and, if only for a brief moment, immerse yourself in My Passion, particularly in My abandonment at the moment of agony.

This is the hour of great mercy. In this hour, I will refuse nothing to the soul that makes a request of Me in virtue of My Passion (Diary, 1320).

History of the Parish
The Syro-Malabar Catholic Church is one of 22 Eastern (Oriental) Catholic Churches in full communion with the Vatican. It is the second largest Eastern Catholic Church after the Ukrainian Church and with 4.6 million believers, is the largest of the Saint Thomas Christian (Nazrani) denominations.

The Syro-Malabar Church traces its origins to St. Thomas, the apostle who landed in Cranganore, India in 52 AD. St. Thomas was martyred in 72 A.D. in Mylapore, near Chennai/Madras. The members of the early Christian community in India were known as St. Thomas Christians. They were also called Nazranis, meaning “those who follow the path of Jesus of Nazareth”.
